South Africa all-rounder Wiaan Mulder slammed the second-fastest triple century in Test cricket history during the second Test match against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo on Monday.
Mulder reached his triple ton off 297 balls, which is second only to Virender Sehwag, who had registered the feat in 278 balls against South Africa in Chennai in 2008.
The 27-year-old also notched up the highest individual score by a South Africa batter in Tests, going past Hashim Amla’s 311, after becoming only the second Protean to slam a triple century.
