Spraying the crops will provide protection from frost. Apart from this, you can also spray 0.2% solution of soluble sulfur, this will protect the crop from frost.

Protect such vegetables from frost
To protect the soil temperature from low in cash vegetable crops, the soil will have to be covered with sackcloth, polythene or straw.
