In Rabi crops, there is a possibility of damage due to frost at the time of formation of flowers and earrings. In such a situation, farmers should pay special attention to the safety of crops by taking precautions. Will have to be kept.

How to protect crops from cold wave and frost

Rajasthan Agriculture Department has issued an advisory to protect crops from cold wave and frost. According to experts, to protect crops from frost, prepare a solution of 0.1% sulfuric acid i.e. one liter concentrated sulfuric acid in one thousand liters of water. Spraying the crops will provide protection from frost. Apart from this, you can also spray 0.2% solution of soluble sulfur, this will protect the crop from frost.

Protect such vegetables from frost

To protect the soil temperature from low in cash vegetable crops, the soil will have to be covered with sackcloth, polythene or straw. Irrigation of the crops during frost days also reduces the effect of frost. For permanent solution to frost, farming should be done. Plant dense and tall trees on ridges in the north-west direction, this also provides protection to vegetable crops from frost.
