When Gaiasur lay down, his body spread to five curses and this five kos became ahead. The place was known as a pilgrimage due to the virtuous effect of Gaiasura. Brahma, Janardhana, Shiva and Pritamah reside in the pure body of Gaiasura, so this place is considered good for Pindadan and Shraddha Karma.
