Deputy Commissioner of Police Cyber ​​Crime, Preeti Yadav said that Meenu Rani, a resident of Gujendra Vihar, Greater Noida, lodged a report at the cyber crime police station on Saturday that on January 7 this year, a message of a person named Hari Singh came on his WhatsApp number, who told that he had a 15 -year experience in the field of investment in the stock market. The woman was then added to a Whatsapp Group.

Fraud to double the money from doubled
The Deputy Commissioner of Police said that Aarti Singh, a member of this Whatsapp Group, approached the complainant woman and told that Hari Singh has bought several GIFT Vouchers of one thousand rupees on Amazon to help a woman, which are being given to all women of the group. When the complainant logged this Gift Voucher with his ID on Amazon, then one thousand rupees came to his account. Seeing the complainant woman deepening towards her, Hari Singh told her that if she invests in trading and stock market, then three to five times the profit will be available in a month.

The official said that after this the thugs initially asked the woman to invest fifty thousand rupees. When the woman transferred this amount to the account stated by the thugs, the amount of her profit on the app downloaded by the fraudsters started appearing with the original amount.

Police made freeze more than 4 lakhs freeze
He said that in the process of earning more profits, the woman also transferred the amount from the account of her husband, mother -in -law and relative to the account stated by the thugs. When the woman asked for a loan from another close woman, she told that she was caught in the trap of thugs. After this, when the complainant woman asked for his money back from the thugs, he broke the contact. He informed that out of the amount of fraud, 4,80,000 thousand rupees have been freed, efforts are being made to hold and freeze the remaining amount.
