
Air India Cut International Operations: In view of the attack on Iran by Israel’s attack and then the current situation in the Middle East, Air India has temporarily decided to cut international airlines. It has been said by Air India that by mid -July, it is going to cut the operation of wide body aircraft by 15 percent. This decision was taken by Air India at a time when earlier on June 12, a boing aircraft in Ahmedabad had fallen victim to an accident while flying. On behalf of the airlines, it was further stated that this decision has been taken to reduce the inconveniences of passengers and to ensure better operation of the aircraft in the midst of many challenges.
International operations cut
On a social media post X, Air India wrote that engineering staff and Air India Pilot have taken this step as a necessary precaution due to night curfew and security checks in many countries including the Middle East and the night curfew and security checks in many countries including European-East Asia.
Air India said that in the last six days, there have been many obstacles in the operation of international aircraft, due to which a total of 83 aircraft have been canceled so far. The airline said that it was very important to take this step in the current situation.
Regulated to passengers
Air India regretted the inconveniences of passengers caused by the cutting of aircraft and said that they would be informed in advance for alternative aircraft. Along with this, passengers will be able to get refunds without any charge or they can also re-schedule their plan without any charge. Air India said that the review schedule of international airlines will be implemented from June 20, 2025.
Air India also commented about the Ahmedabad aircraft accident and said that the investigation of the cars of that incident is going on at this time. Authorities are finding out the real reasons behind this incident. On the other hand, the Director General of Civil Aviation has directed to increase security checks of Air India’s Boing 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft.
