Farmers will get additional benefits on big gifts, paddy and wheat

For the purpose of ensuring the prosperity of farmers, the government is going to transfer an amount of Rs 4000 per hectare for paddy procurement directly to the farmers’ account. At the same time, wheat growers have also been given great relief. They will get the support price of Rs 2,425 per quintal in addition to Rs 175 per quintal bonus, which will make the total amount to Rs 2,600 per quintal.

Paddy farmers have given a big relief to paddy producer farmers under ‘Mukhyamantri Krishak Promotion Scheme’. Under this scheme, farmers who have earned their paddy yield and have completed all necessary procedures will be given an additional assistance of Rs 4000 per hectare. According to the government data, in the year 2024, 6.69 lakh farmers have earned about 12.2 lakh hectares of paddy produced in land. Under this scheme, a total financial assistance of Rs 488 crore will be given to the farmers. The government says that this scheme is an important step to increase the income of farmers and strengthen their economic status.

Wheat farmers will get bonus

Along with paddy growers, the government has also given great relief to wheat farmers. The minimum support price fixed on wheat is Rs 2,425 per quintal, on which the government has announced to give a bonus of Rs 175 per quintal. Thus, farmers will get a total benefit of a total of Rs 2,600 per quintal on the sale of wheat.
This year is estimated to have 80 lakh metric tonnes of wheat in the state. The farmers will get an additional benefit of about Rs 1,400 crore due to the Rs 175 per quintal bonus amount being given by the government.
