Chief Agriculture Officer Samba Madan Gopal said that the Agriculture Department is motivating the farmers of the district for modern farming. He said that this initiative is not only improving the economic condition of the farmers but the traditional methods of farming in the district are also moving towards modernization. less effort more profit
I came to know from farmer Karan Singh that a farmer has started cultivating foreign vegetables here by bringing new seeds. In this type of farming, labor is less and profits are more. Earlier we used to cultivate wheat and paddy but the profits were very less. If the government helps us more, we will cultivate foreign vegetables on a large scale and will be able to earn more profits.

Increased help from agriculture department
Karan Singh also told that earlier there was not much help from the Agriculture Department but now the people of the department are fully ready to help them. Now we are getting a lot of help from the Agriculture Department which is a big change for us.
