Variety of urad and its merits

This crop is ready in 80 to 90 days and gives 10 to 15 quintals of yield in one hectare. This variety also gives good yield in both less and more moisture.

How to cultivate urad

Light sandy to loam soil is considered to be the most suitable for urad cultivation. There should be good water drainage in the field. Put the field 2-3 times before sowing and level it. If there is no moisture in the field before sowing seeds, then do light irrigation.

While sowing, keep the distance 30 cm from the queue to 30 cm and the plant from the plant to 10 cm. Sow the seeds at 4 to 6 cm deep. To avoid the problem of weeds, sprinkle Basalin (800-1000 ml) in 250 liters of water before sowing.
