Sri Lanka’s financial condition in 2022 was pathetic, then India helped
Sri Lanka’s financial condition in the year 2022 had worsened, due to which the fuel stations dried up, the supply of food grains and medicines was reduced and the foreign reserves were eliminated. India then emerged as the biggest supporter of Colombo, which, along with postponing loan facility, currency exchange and loan payment of more than US $ four billion, provided several consignments of human assistance.
