Beno Zefeen was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, his father is a railway employee and mother is a housewife. Despite being blind since birth, Benno Zefeen was very bright in studies. After this, he cleared UPSC in June 2014. He had secured 348th rank. With which she became the first blind woman to join the Indian Foreign Service in the year 2015.
