A woman turned heads in a crowded public square in Turkey when she began changing into a traditional saree on the spot. The now-viral Instagram video shows her standing in a red blouse and black leggings, holding shopping bags, before pulling out a folded saree and starting to drape it on the spot.
She confidently ties a petticoat and wraps the saree around herself as surprised pedestrians slow down to watch. Some stare in curiosity, while others walk past looking confused or disapproving. Unfazed by the attention, she completes the transformation with ease.
Once she completes the process, the woman poses for the camera. The moment is short-lived. Moments later, a security guard walks up to her, seemingly unimpressed, and asks her to vacate the premises.
The video, uploaded five days ago, quickly went viral, racking up over 8,45,000 likes and 29.9 million views. It has sparked strong reactions online.
