For a long time now, the Delhi Metro has become the favourite filming location for content creators, especially for social media trends like ‘Get ready with me’ (GRWM) videos. The stations and trains provide a distinct setting for creative content and the city’s broad network offers various locations for shooting. Now, in an unexpected turn of events, a man’s GRWM video inside a moving coach of the Delhi Metro has grabbed the audience’s attention online.
The video begins with the man, 28, showing several makeup products to the camera, such as a pink blush, tinted lip balm, and lightweight hair gel. He begins by mixing the blush on the apples of his cheeks and the tip of his nose, then adds more blending. Next up, he quickly applies the lip balm and does a pout test, and it ends with him applying the hair gel.
One scrunch, style, and quick ‘fit check later, he switches the shot to show him ‘otw to office’ in an auto-rickshaw. The video caption reads, “Got office ready in the metro (Delhi metro do not fine me pls).”
The clip instantly went viral, prompting several reactions. An Instagram user commented, “Serving looks on the go.” Another one wrote, “Can’t people just normalize it? A little blush shouldn’t hurt anyone’s ego. A lip oil won’t hurt either. It is just wholesome to watch.” One of them shared, “Corporate Majdoori – Pookie Edition.”
A comment reads, “The guy in the back got a free makeup tutorial.” Another reads, “The guy in the back wanted to be a diva as well.” A person commented, “Someone at the back is falling in love with you.” “Pookie employee. Boss’s favourite,” read a comment.
The clip has been watched more than 27 lakh times on Instagram since it was shared online.
Earlier, several videos from Delhi Metro of random fights, public displays of affection, dancing reels, and bizarre dressing have surfaced online, leaving people speechless.
Due to such instances, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has recommended that passengers avoid recording reels and dancing videos inside trains to maintain a smooth and safe ride. This is because such activities can create inconvenience and distract other passengers from their commute.
