A content creator has sent social media into splits with a pitch-perfect spoof of Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath’s signature podcast style, earning praise from the man himself. Rohit Raghuvendra, known for his sharp impressions, shared a now-viral Instagram reel where he mimicked Kamath perfectly. From the signature pauses and philosophical tone to the upscale setting reminiscent of the WTF podcast, every detail was impressively spot-on.
“You can’t ask such intense questions while also serving me some fancy food, I can only focus on one thing,” he wrote in the caption.
The video includes some hilariously absurd questions, delivered with complete seriousness: “What’s your advice to someone who went viral for slapping their brother in a Rakshabandhan reel but now wants to start a meditation podcast?” and “Give me one mental model a rickshaw driver in Delhi could use to build a creator economy side-hustle?”
Nikhil Kamath responded with laughing emojis in the comments, clearly enjoying the good-natured jab. The director of the WTF podcast also weighed in, writing, “As someone who’s directed & listened to Nikhil for 1,000+ hours… this hits the spot. Iconic.”
Fans and fellow creators, including BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover and actor Parth Samthaan, joined in the praise.
A user added, “Haha dude this was epic!! You nailed him..I mean his impression,” while another commented, “The five-second pause between every word is mandatory!”
Nikhil Kamath’s WTF podcast, streaming on YouTube, has become a go-to for deep, wide-ranging conversations spanning topics like technology, psychology, social media and entrepreneurship. The show boasts over 1.5 million subscribers and has hosted notable guests such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, actor Ranbir Kapoor and several top entrepreneurs.
According to Apple and Podtail’s December data, WTF is ranked among India’s top podcasts.
