- Boiled beet – 1
- Buffed yogurt – 1 cup
- Roasted cumin powder – half tsp
- Black Pepper Powder – 1 quarter tsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Green coriander – for decoration
- Mint – 1 tsp finely chopped
Recipe
First of all wash beetroot and boil it. When cooled, take the peel and grate it. Now whisk cold yogurt in a vessel so that it becomes smooth. Now add grated beetroot in curd and mix well. After this, add roasted cumin powder, black pepper and salt to it. Garnish by adding finely chopped coriander and mint on top. Serve the raita by cooling a little in the fridge.
