Devendra Fadnavis on Emergency Movie: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency is finally going to be released. After getting many dates, now this film is going to be released in theatres. ‘Emergency’, directed and produced by Kangana Ranaut, is based on the Emergency imposed by former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi in 1975. A day before the release of this film, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis watched actress Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Emergency’ on Thursday. Reached the stage and praised Ranaut for showing the truth of the Emergency.

Maharashtra CM praised the film Emergency

CM Devendra Fadnavis said, I want to heartily congratulate Kangana Ranaut for making a film on such an important issue. Emergency was the time when human rights of all the people were snatched away. I still remember when I used to go to jail to meet my father. My father was in jail during the Emergency and I was only five years old.

He further said that Kangana Ranaut has once again brought the era of Emergency among the people through the film. Kangana ji’s role in the film is commendable. Although Indira ji was very big for us, she was a leader for the country but at that time she was a villain for us. I feel that Emergency is a dark night in the history of our country, it is important to convey that truth to the countrymen. I feel that the coming generation should know the truth of the Emergency.
