
Jamaat-e-Islami of Bangladesh has demanded to build a separate country for Rohingyas. He proposed to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and said that it is not enough to give food, clothes and refuge. Rohingya is leading a very inhuman life, so they should be sent to their land Myanmar back and made an independent Arakan for them.
Jamaat-e-Islami leader Syed Abdulla Mohammad Tahir has proposed this proposal to the Chinese Communist Party at the City Hotel in Dhaka. A three -member team led by Peng Shibin, in -charge of South and South East Asia affairs of the Chinese party, reached Bangladesh. Syed Abdullah Tahir told reporters after the meeting, ‘There are 11 to 12 lakh Rohingya in Bangladesh, who are living life in inhuman conditions. Giving them only food, cloth or shelter is not a solution. The solution is that they should be sent back to their country and resettled again. Because of this, we have proposed to create an independent Arakan country in Rohingya dominated area Arakan."text-align: justify;"> Syed Abdullah Tahir said that China can play an important role in this matter because it has good relationships with Myanmar. He said that this proposal was given so that no one has hostile attitude towards each other. He informed that there was a discussion about regional security in the meeting.
Syed Abdullah Tahir said that it was a party to party meeting and a chance for Jamaat-e-Islami to strengthen relationships with CCP. Jamaat-e-Islami also spoke to the Chinese party to invest in the construction of Teesta Barrage, Second Padma River Bridge and Deep Sea port. He has also requested to provide a large scale scholarship for Bangladesh students.
Syed Abdullah Tahir said that Chinese representatives also wanted to know about Bangladesh elections when and how elections will be held. He said that Beijing does not interfere in the internal affairs of any country and this policy is also for Bangladesh.
