India China News: Trump’s tariff has caused a ruckus in Asia-Europe’s stock markets. The new government of America has imposed strict tariffs on India and China under its US First policy. Additional tariffs of 34 percent on China and 26 percent on India have been imposed. Meanwhile, China said that India-China should stand together to counter the tariff imposed by US President Donald Trump’s administration.
The Chinese Embassy spokesman U Jing in India posted a post on X, “China-India economic and business relations are based on each other’s benefits. America is misusing tariffs. To face it, two largest developing countries in the world must stand together.”
In response to Trump’s tariff, China imposed a 34 percent tariff on the US. With this action of China, Trump threatened to impose 50 percent tariff on sugar imports. A spokesman for the Ministry of Chinese Commerce said that if the US enhances its tariff measures, China will take firm retaliation to protect its rights and interests. He said that American threat to increase tariffs on China is a big mistake and once again reveals America’s blackmailing nature.
The Chinese Commerce Ministry spokesman said, “The right way to treat China is not to put pressure and threatening. China urges the US to immediately improve its wrong practices, cancel all unilateral tariff measures against China, stop China’s economic and business suppression and solve differences with China through equal dialogue based on similar respect.”
