A disturbing video has come to light from Rajendra Nagar, Bilaspur. The clip shows a man being mercilessly beaten with a belt in broad daylight by another man. The incident allegedly stems from the man’s suspicion that the victim had a close friendship with his sister. The disturbing clip, which quickly went viral after being posted on X, shows the man repeatedly hitting the visibly frightened youth while hurling verbal abuse.

Despite it happening in a public area during the day, no one is seen intervening to stop the assault. The incident has sparked outrage across social media, with many raising concerns about increasing public violence.

The incident has triggered a wave of criticism across social media platforms, with many condemning the man’s behaviour.

“That’s deeply disturbing. No one deserves to be publicly humiliated or assaulted on mere suspicion of friendship,” read a comment.

Another added, “He probably never had a female friend himself, that’s why he couldn’t handle his sister having a male friend. Typical narrow-minded thinking.”

In February 2025, a man was stripped naked before being brutally beaten with a belt over alleged mobile theft. The video of the incident was initially shared as an Instagram Story for close friends. It opens to show the victim, half-naked, lying face down on a sofa while another man sits on his face. Another man can be seen mercilessly whipping him while simultaneously recording the assault on his phone.
