Chhattisgarh fire department recruitment to 295 posts, applications will start from July 1; Know the whole process

In Chhattisgarh, a golden opportunity has come to light for the youth looking for a government job. The State Fire and Emergency Services Department has issued a notification for recruitment to a total of 295 posts. Through this recruitment process, various posts will be filled in the fire department, including posts like station officer, fire man, driver, store keeper, mechanic. Interested candidates can apply online from 1 July 2025 to 31 July 2025. To apply, you have to visit the official website of the department cggcd.gov.in.

Station Officer (Sub Inspector): 21 posts
Driver: 14 posts
Operator with the driver of the vehicle: 86 posts
Fire Man: 117 posts
Store Keeper: 32 posts
Mechanic: 2 posts
Watchroom Operator: 19 posts
Wireless Operator (Contract): 4 posts

What should be the qualification?

Different educational and technical qualifications have been fixed for each post. It is necessary for the station officer to have a BSc or BE (firefighting subject). 12th pass and valid driving license is required for the driver / operator. For Fire Man and Store Keeper, 12th pass, mechanic 12th pass and ITI diploma in diesel mechanic is required. Watchroom and wireless operator 12th pass and training in city soldiers is necessary.

What will be the age limit?

The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 28 years. Scheduled Castes, Tribes and other reserved classes will be given a discount of 5 years in maximum age.

What will happen in the selection process?

Not only educational qualification, but for all posts, Physical Efficiency Test will also be necessary. Candidates will need to pass this exam.
