Laxman Utekar On Anurag Kashyap: Director Laxman Utekar has reacted on the statement of film maker Anurag Kashyap to leave Bollywood and move to South. The ‘Chhava’ director says that Anurag Kashyap is unable to understand the audience. According to Laxman, Bollywood films are still earning crores and if they have to go, they can go, no one is stopping them.

Speaking about Anurag Kashyap in a recent interview to Mamaj Count, Laxman Utekar said- ‘Go away, leave it, of course, go, no one is doing confidence. See, this industry is such that you have to be mentally and critically happy, only then we can make a great film. If you do not want to live here, then how will you make a great film? Laxman Utekar further told that now the choice of the audience is changing. He said- ‘Today the audience has cinema around the world in his phone. They are more updated than you. They know what to see and what not to see and after every three years, cinema is changing. Cinematography is changing, editing is changing, story, costume, everything is changing. You have to change as a filmmaker. You cannot stay stuck in the past and cannot say that there is no understanding in the audience. You have to change.
