A fight broke out between lassi shopkeepers near the Radha Rani Temple in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Two groups of lassi sellers got into a heated argument over attracting customers, which turned into a full-blown fight.
The clash, now being called the “Kulhad war,” happened in broad daylight near the road leading to the Barsana Ladli Ji Temple. The incident quickly went viral and reminded people of the 2021 Baghpat chaat stall brawl.
The dramatic video shows the brawl happening just outside one of Braj’s most sacred temples. Shopkeepers are seen throwing kulhads and hitting each other in front of shocked onlookers. The incident caused panic among visitors and locals nearby.
Bricks, Sticks, and Kulhads
In the viral video, shopkeepers can be seen attacking each other using sticks, bricks, and even kulhads (earthen cups). The scene quickly became chaotic as a large crowd gathered. Reports say several people, including a woman, were injured. No police were seen at the spot during the fight.

Social Media Reactions
People online were quick to compare this to the Baghpat chaat stall fight from four years ago. That fight had also involved street vendors battling over customers using sticks and rods, which led to a meme storm at the time.
A user commented on the recent video, “Picture India’s biz scene as a wild jungle, survival instincts on blast, thriving as the 4th biggest economy. Roar!”
Another added, “Girl have the survival instinct of a child..going in middle for no reason.”
An individual joked, “After the ‘Battle of Baghpat’ we got ‘The kulhad yudh of Barsana’.”
Flashback: Battle of Baghpat
In 2021, the town of Baghpat saw a similar fight between two chaat vendors. The video went viral because of how intense and dramatic the brawl was. One man, with henna-streaked hair, stood out and became famous online. Social media users dubbed him ‘chacha’ and turned the moment into a meme fest.
