A golden opportunity has come to light for the youth preparing for a government job. Indian Railways has issued a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) for 9900 posts and the application process for this has started today, from 10 April 2025.
Those candidates who are dreaming of a job in the railway, they can now apply online by visiting the official website of RRB. Note, applications will be accepted only through online medium. The form sent offline or any other form will not be valid.
Qualification and age limit
For this recruitment, the candidate must have passed ITI, Diploma or Graduation in a trade related to a recognized board or institute. Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate should not be 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 30 years. However, candidates of reserved category (SC, ST, OBC) will be given age relaxation as per rules. Age will be calculated on 1 July 2025.
Application fee will have to be paid so much
The application fee for General, OBC and EWS category candidates is Rs 500. Whereas SC, ST, PWBD and X-Serviceman candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 250. Applications without fees will not be accepted.
This will be selected
Candidates will be selected in three stages CBT-1, CBT-2 and CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test). In all these stages, successful candidates will have to go through the document verification process and finally eligible candidates will be appointed in the Railways.

- Now the candidates submit the application fee and submit the form.
