Bryan Johnson has been vocal about his nighttime erections as a “biomarker” for cardiovascular and sexual well-being.

Bryan Johnson, the CEO of Kernel and the founder of Project Blueprint, has sparked online discussions with his posts about nighttime erections. These posts highlight his unconventional perspective on health and ageing, with nighttime erections being identified as a key “biomarker” for overall health. These India-focused posts were shared prior to his highly publicised tour of the country. However, the unusual content of the posts, which includes references to Bollywood and pop culture, has generated significant interest.

Johnson has been open about using his nighttime erections as a “biomarker” for cardiovascular and sexual health. In a recent post, he shared a song from the 1994 Bollywood film, Andaz, titled Khada Hai, which features Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla and is known for its suggestive lyrics. Alongside the video, he wrote, “Nighttime erections are a biomarker for cardiovascular, physiological and sexual health.”

Bryan Johnson did not stop there. In a post thread, he shared an excerpt from the song, Choo Lo’ by The Local Train, writing, “When your night-time erections are shorter than Lagaan’s run time…”

After his initial post, Johnson’s public admission that he doesn’t wear underwear continued to attract attention. He followed this up by sharing a widely circulated and somewhat peculiar video of a woman who gained fame on social media for provocatively asking about the colour of people’s underwear. In a shirtless video, Johnson said, “Main chaddi nahi pehenta (I don’t wear underwear).” He captioned the post, “It’s not about the color of your underpants. It’s about the length of your nighttime erections.”

A user humorously commented, “Whoever is suggesting you Bollywood songs needs to be arrested. Being ‘too accurate’ is dangerous.”

Some users speculated that it is YouTuber and Comedian Tanmay Bhat’s doing, with one user commenting: “Reveal your social media agency for the India tour already. PS: is it Tanmay?”

Directly tagging Bhat, another user said: “@thetanmay ye aapka idea hoga sir?”

Johnson has also been candid about using a device to track his nightly erections. In a previous interview with Business Insider, he revealed that he wears a gadget at night to monitor both the duration and quality of his erections, which he has averaged at over two hours. His goal is to reach 3.5 hours, a benchmark he believes would align him with the virility of an 18-year-old. Johnson explains that this monitoring is part of a broader assessment of what he refers to as his biological age and sexual fitness.
