A video from Mumbai has gone viral on social media, showing a foreign man chanting “Ek Maratha, Lakh Maratha” alongside a group of people. The clip has attracted widespread attention, amassing over a million views and generating a mix of reactions online.
While visiting the city, the man was surrounded by a crowd that urged him to repeat the popular Maratha Morcha slogan. He was also handed the traditional orange cap, a symbol often linked with the group. Smiling throughout, he joined the chants and laughed, turning the unusual moment into a light-hearted exchange.
Foreign Guest Joins The Slogans
In the video, shared on Instagram, the man is heard saying, “Ek Maratha,” while the surrounding group loudly follows with, “Lakh Maratha.” The slogan continues several times as the foreigner repeats the words with full energy.
The Video Went Viral On Social Media
As the video spread online, it sparked a wave of reactions from viewers amused by the unexpected scene.
One user commented, “Bro’s got a story to tell his homies when he’s back.”
Another humorously wrote, “Bro need a Korean Arakshan now.”
Comments continued with jokes such as, “Bro needs Aadhaar card” and “Bro don’t know what he signed up for.”
“He’s looking so cute with that topi,” someone else praised.
Others described the moment as “International collaboration,” while some called it “Peak unemployment” and even “International support.”
Not Everyone Was Amused
But not all responses were in a joking tone. Some users expressed discomfort with the incident, with a person writing, “Just because we behave like this, other countries are rejecting us and assaulting us…We have 0 civic sense…Better we educate ourselves or be ready for destruction.”
An individual added, “I don’t understand why the f*** are other people laughing on this… This is so embarrassing after the nonsense.”
At the same time, there were some who defended the act. “They are doing it in a friendly way, not in a threatening way like those language guys. And the Korean guy is laughing,” a viewer noted.

This isn’t the only clip drawing attention online. The same page also shared a video of a foreign woman, who, much like the man in the viral footage, is seen chanting “Ek Maratha, Lakh Maratha” along with the surrounding crowd.
