Jaishankar will also meet international personalities attending the swearing-in ceremony… The Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement, “Invitations from the Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee Foreign Minister at (EAM) Dr. S. Jaishankar will represent the Government of India at the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States.” The ministry further said in its statement. During this visit, Jaishankar will also meet members of the new US administration as well as other important personalities, who will be in America for the swearing-in.
