After the web series Ashram, his villain image got a boost after playing the character of Abrar Haq in the film ‘Animal’ released last year. Recently, Bobby was also seen playing a negative role in ‘Kanguva’. In such a situation, the actor has decided to get rid of this image.
Bobby Deol’s recent release ‘Kanguwa’ flopped miserably at the box office. Made with a budget of Rs 300-350 crore, this film could earn only Rs 106.25 crore worldwide. Bobby Deol appeared in villain avatar in this film. But now the actor has revealed that he will avoid doing such roles now.

While talking to E-Times, Bobby Deol talked about being typecast. He said- ‘What happens is that when you are successful in something, the industry wants to use you because of it. But I am trying to get out of it. I have already shot a few films this year which are different.

Bobby Deol further said- ‘When you play the role of a villain, you get a chance to explore many aspects of a character, which I enjoy. However, I am also looking forward to an interesting actor’s role with great depth.

But Bobby Deol has said that he has no information about the sequel. The actor said- ‘I spoke to Sandeep Reddy Vanga the other day to celebrate the anniversary of the film, but I don’t know what is happening with the sequel.
