Banks will be closed for 12 days this month

According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), in June 2025, banks will remain closed for 12 days in various states across the country. These include weekly holidays like Sunday and second and fourth Saturdays as well as public and regional holidays celebrated under the Negotiable Instruments Act. Although not all 12 days of holidays will be applicable across the country, but during this time banking services will be affected in many states.

Complete list of holidays in June-

• Due to being Sunday, 1 June, banks will be holiday across the country.
• Banks will remain closed in some states for Eid-ul-Azha or Bakrid on Friday, June 6.
• On June 7, Saturday, there will be a holiday of Bakrid or Eid-e-U-Juha in most states.
• On June 8, there will be Sunday holiday in banks.
• June 11, Wednesday – Banks will remain closed in Sikkim and Himachal Pradesh for Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti and Saga claim.
• The second Saturday of the month of June 14 is so the banks will remain closed.
• On June 15, Sunday, there will be a regular weekly holiday across the country.
• Banks will remain closed due to Sunday on 22 June.
• Banks will remain closed in Odisha and Manipur for Rath Yatra or Kang on 27 June, Friday.
• All banks will be closed for the fourth Saturday on 28 June.
• Due to Sunday on 29 June, banks will be discharged.
• Banks for Remna Ni in Mizoram will remain closed on Monday, 30 June.
