Bangladesh angry over Agartala violence, interim government of Mohammad Yunus made big demand


India-Bangladesh News: A massive protest rally was taken out in Tripura capital Agartala on Monday (December 2) against the arrest of Hindu saint Chinmoy Krishna Das in Bangladesh. Where the angry mob attacked the Bangladeshi High Commission. After this incident, the interim government of Mohammad Yunus of the neighboring country got enraged. He protested against the violent protests and demanded a thorough investigation into the incident by the Indian government.

In a statement, Bangladesh’s Foreign Ministry alleged that Agartala protesters were allowed to enter the campus. After this they broke the flag pole and insulted the national flag of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh said in its statement that the information received confirms that the protesters were allowed to take an aggressive stance in the premises by breaking the main gate of the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in a pre-planned manner. It is regrettable that the local police personnel present for the security of the campus did not show proactiveness in controlling the situation from the beginning. This incident has increased the concern of the officers present on the campus.

India called the incident regrettable
India has described the incident of vandalism in the premises of the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh by the protesters as extremely regrettable. On this matter, Bangladesh has called upon the Indian government to take immediate steps to resolve this incident. He said that it is the responsibility of the host government to protect diplomatic missions. On this, the Ministry of External Affairs has said in a statement that the government is taking action to increase the security of Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi and other missions of the country.
