The Punjab government of Pakistan issued a peculiar decree, under which the government and private schools and college students will neither be able to sing Bollywood songs nor dance on these songs.
In fact, the Punjab government of Pakistan has banned the dancing of students (Bollywood) songs of students in all the colleges and educational institutions of the province. A circular has been issued to apply the order. It has been written that students and teachers have been seen dancing on Indian songs on stage or class at the Fun Fair/Sports ceremony to be held in government and private colleges. The educational institution is an educational place and this should not happen here.
Strict action will be taken if the order is not accepted
It was further stated in the circular that you are directed to issue instructions to all government and private colleges under your jurisdiction to stay away from such unethical activities in educational institutions. In case of negligence, the concerned Principal, Deputy Director and Director of Education (College) will be held responsible and strict disciplinary action will be taken against them.
Pakistan told pornography of Bollywood songs
The circular clearly states that dancing to Indian songs in sports ceremonies and fun fairs in colleges and banning such performance, pure clothes and use of obscene language have been banned. The Higher Education Commission has also said that it is the responsibility of college administration to focus on education and character building of both the students studying in the college.
