China refused to bow down after which the US imposed 50 percent more tariffs, causing the total tariff to 104 percent.

China’s Finance Ministry announced that it would impose 84 percent tariffs on all American goods from Thursday. Apart from this, China put 12 American companies in the export control list and 6 American companies in the ‘incredible institution’ list. Now Trump has banned all countries who want to interact on trade agreement with other countries except China from imposing a counter -tariff for 90 days. Instead, he increased the tariff against China to 125 percent, which immediately came into force.
