Asit Modi’s pain on the stars leaving ‘Tarak Mehta …’ said- ‘My heart hurts’

Taarak mehta ka ooltah chashmah: SAB TV’s popular show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ has been entertaining the audience for 17 years. Many artists have been associated with the show since the beginning, while some artists have said goodbye to the show. Now the show’s producer Asit Kumar Modi has spoken openly about this. Asit Modi said that he suffers when actors leave ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’.

Talking to the Indian Express, Asit Modi said- ‘We all started together and when you work with someone for so long and they go away, it hurts. The first elephant brother (poet Kumar Azad) fell ill and died. I also remember Ghanshyam Nayak (Nattu Kaka). If they were still there, things would have been fun.

‘Whenever someone goes, my heart hurts’
Asit Modi further said- ‘Some people left the show and left. He did not want to do the show after Kovid. Some people do not know what happened. Was it a misunderstanding that they left? It was not easy to take everyone along for 17 years and run the show. I did not give up so easily. Whenever someone goes, my heart hurts. When we think about them and make a story, we like that character. If we do not like the character, then why will we pursue it in the story? And when a new person comes in their place, the audience also gets upset.

Actors who leave the show also cast the cast again
Producer says- ‘People have been with us for 15 years, 12 years. Some people left the show in the middle and then came back. We took them, forgot the past. I always think about the show first. No one is above the show, not me either. First Goli (Kush Shah) had to go for further studies, so we bid them a good farewell. Due to the good time we spent, we also became emotional. Sometimes we used to shoot at night. During GPL, we shot for 10 consecutive nights. I am still in the contact of some people.

Asit Modi also talked about Gurcharan Singh (Sodhi) during this period. He said- ‘Whatever is happening to Gurcharan ji is not good. My heart goes out to them. I have told them that if there is any problem, they can always talk to me. What will I do by keeping malice in my mind? Asit Modi further said- ‘I am happy that this show is a source of happiness in the whole world. Artists have worked hard to make the show a success. Now, after 17 years, if someone wants to leave the show due to his problems, then he is free to leave.

‘I have promised to run the show till then …’
The producer said- ‘The audience has to understand this. He likes characters, but artists also have their own reasons. I have promised to run the show as long as I have energy. Anyone who wants to leave is fine. Just do it with love and maintain a relationship.
