A video of Asha Bhosle belting out Tauba Tauba at a concert in Dubai has been making waves on the Internet, leaving everyone, including the song’s original singer Karan Aujla, in awe.

Asha Bhosle, at a legacy concert in Dubai with Sonu Nigam, left her fans in awe as she performed Karan Aujla’s hit song Tauba Tauba. Not only that she even recreated Vicky Kaushal’s Hook Step that created “Tauba-hee” on the Internet. A video of the 91-year-old singer’s performance has been going viral on social media and is receiving thunderous applause online.
Anushka Arora, who attended the concert in Dubai, shared the video on Instagram with the caption, “Asha Bhosle not only singing Tauba Tauba but also doing the dance steps at her Dubai show was not on my 2024 Bingo card. Legendary!”
The video shows Bhosle, dressed in a white saree with black borders, singing Tauba Tauba from Anand Tiwari’s comedy Bad Newz.

The concert took place at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on December 29.

‘Sang better than me’: Karan Aujla
Karan Aujla, after watching the Padma Vibhushan awardee perform his song, took to his Instagram Story and wrote, “Asha Bhosle ji, the living Goddess of music, just performed Tauba Tauba… a song written by a kid who grew up in a small village, with no music background and no knowledge of musical instruments. A melody made by someone who doesn’t play any instrument.”
“This song has received a lot of love and recognition amongst not only fans but also music artists, but this moment is truly iconic and one I will never forget,” he continued.

“I am truly blessed and thankful. This has really inspired me to keep giving you all such melodies and create more memories together,” Aujla further expressed.
The singer also shared a video of Bhosle performing his song on stage and expressed, “I wrote it at 27. She sang it at 91 better than me.” He completed it with a folded hand emoji.
