It was the first All Female Mission in 1963 after the Soviet Cosmonot Valentina Terekshkova’s solo spaceflight, with all women. After returning to the ground, Katy Parry and Gayle King kissed the earth. Lauren took a small device with her in Sanchez Space, which kept flying under her seat during the visit. According to CNN report, this device was created by the American NGO Floven for Teachers in Space.
