As speculation about a potential romance between former US President Barack Obama and Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston grows on social media, popular American TV host Megyn Kelly has further fuelled the rumours by suggesting that if true, it would be a “political earthquake.”
A video of Kelly, host of The Megyn Kelly Showhas been circulating on the social media platform X, where she commented that there seems to be growing momentum around speculation regarding Barack and Michelle Obama’s marriage, hinting at a possible separation.
“I don’t know whether it’s true,” Kelly said, “but if it is, it truly would be a political earthquake in democrat circles, never mind America,” she added in the video clip, which was shared by X user Collin Rugg.

The TV host also raised the possibility of a link between Obama and Aniston, adding to the growing online buzz. She highlighted the rarity of presidential divorces, saying, “I don’t remember a presidential divorce in modern history.”
However, it is important to note that Barack Obama is still married to Michelle Obama, and the rumours of a rift in their marriage have emerged in recent months.
Speculation about their relationship has intensified following Michelle’s absence from several high-profile events with her husband. She notably missed the funeral of former US President Jimmy Carter earlier this month, as well as the inauguration of President Donald Trump this week.
Michelle, who mostly accompanies her husband at such events, raised eyebrows with her absence, prompting some to wonder if there was trouble in the couple’s marriage.
Despite the swirling rumours, neither Barack nor Michelle have commented on the speculation.

Old Interview Of Jennifer Aniston Surfaces
In the midst of these claims, an old interview with Jennifer Aniston has resurfaced, further fueling the rumours. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last October, Aniston laughed off speculation of a romance with Obama, dismissing the rumours as absurd..
She jokingly referred to tabloid stories about her and Obama, saying, “Of all the calls you get from your publicist where you’re like, ‘Oh no, what’s it gonna be?’ Or the emails saying some cheesy tabloid’s going to make up a story and then it’s that,” adding, “I was not mad at it.” She further clarified, “I know Michelle (Obama) more than him.”
Aniston also addressed a magazine cover that claimed to reveal “The Truth about Jen and Barack.” She dismissed the idea, saying, “Some cheesy tabloid is going to make up a story’… and then it’s that. I was not mad at it. That is absolutely untrue.”
