America is strict regarding violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, said- ‘Protect minorities’

Bangladesh Violence: America has expressed grief over the ongoing violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. Last Tuesday (December 3), American Congressman Brad Sherman issued a statement asking the interim government of Bangladesh to protect the Hindu minorities. Sherman demanded an investigation from Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council and United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk regarding the atrocities being committed against Hindus.

Congress leader Brad Sherman urged the current US administration to take action against the violence against the Hindu community and ensure their safety. Let us tell you that last month, Chinmoy Krishna Das was arrested on charges of treason and hoisting the saffron flag over the national flag of Bangladesh.

After his arrest, incidents of violence against minority communities increased rapidly in Bangladesh. The action against Chinmoy Krishna Das was taken after a complaint was filed by a local politician, accusing him of insulting the national flag of Bangladesh during a rally of the Hindu community.
