The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and the Punjab Kings (PBKS) will clash in the final of IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad today, June 3, 2025. Interestingly, both teams will fight for their maiden title this year, adding an extra layer of excitement for all the cricket fans.
As the craze among the spectators peaks, Delhi Police have also joined the frenzy and shared an important message with the citizens, highlighting the importance of ‘18 years’.
On X, Delhi Police wrote, “18 years, That’s how long it takes to get a Driving License; ‘a trophy’, must to drive on the road. Whether it’s cricket or driving, success takes focus, timing and responsibility.”
As soon as the post was shared online, the comment section was swamped with reactions from users. A person quipped, “So Delhi is below 18?” Another one wrote, “Aaj tum wireless par commentary kyu nahi chala dete (Why don’t you guys put the commentary on wireless today?)” One user shared, “Driving on the roads always requires the responsibility that we should show towards society and our family.”

This year marks the fourth IPL Final for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru after 2009, 2011 and 2016, while for the Punjab Kings, it is the second time after 2014.
RCB secured their place in the IPL 2025 final after defeating PBKS by 8 wickets in the Qualifier 1 match on Thursday, May 29, at Mullanpur, and Rajat Patidar’s side hopes to repeat the performance today.
Punjab came out victorious in a nail-biting thriller Qualifier 2 against the Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians.
The Preity Zinta-owned team defeated the five-time champions by 4 wickets, thanks to an 87-not-out knock from captain Shreyas Iyer.
Tonight, Virat Kohli and every RCB fan’s nearly two-decade desire to clinch an IPL title will be set against Shreyas Iyer’s determination to produce first-time winners with Punjab.
