Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg said on Wednesday that due to the tariff, the client of China has indicated that they will not take delivery. He made it clear that the company will now supply these aircraft to some other interested purchases.
Significantly, both the world’s economic superpower America and China have put more than 100 percent tariff on each other’s goods. Reuters in their report, citing two sources in their report, said that Air India from Boeing is in talks about the purchase of about 10 aircraft which will be used for Air India Express. Around 100 aircraft of Air India Express are being operated.
Sources said that Air India has shown very diligent in it and if this conversation is successful, then by the end of this year, they will join the fleet of Air India aircraft. He told that the discussion is at an early level at the moment. The purchase of these 10 aircraft of Bing will help Air India in its expansion, because at this time this group does not have enough aircraft.
Another source said that the aircraft made for Chinese Airlines had separate cabin fittings and syntings. In such a situation, it will have to be changed according to the current needs of Air India. Along with this, a decision will be taken after that at its final price.
