
In an important meeting held between Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, an investment of Rs 75,000 crore was announced for the development of the state. This investment will prove to give a new direction to the industrial and social progress of the state. Adani Group plans to invest Rs 60,000 crore to expand its power plants in Raipur, Korba and Raigarh.
With this investment, the power generation capacity of Chhattisgarh will increase by 6,120 MW, which will make the state a leader in the field of energy. Along with this, the group has announced to invest Rs 5,000 crore for the expansion of its cement plants in the state. This investment will further strengthen the industrial structure of the state.
Rs 10,000 crore will be spent in these sectors
Adani Foundation has promised to spend Rs 10,000 crore in the next four years in the fields of education, health, skill development and tourism. The objective of this initiative is to improve the standard of living of the citizens of Chhattisgarh and provide new opportunities to the youth.
Investment will be made in defense sector and data center
Defense equipment manufacturing, data center and establishment of a Global Capability Center were also discussed in the meeting. This is the first time that a large-scale investment has been planned in the defense sector in Chhattisgarh. This will strengthen the strategic position of the state and encourage technological innovation.
Adani will arrange food for the devotees coming to Mahakumbh
Recently, information was given by Adani Group that Gautam Adani’s company, in collaboration with ISKCON, will arrange free food for lakhs of devotees coming to Mahakumbh.
