China’s action against Corruption: China, led by President Xi Jinping, has been dismissed by many senior officials posted in its defense and security establishments for a long time on charges of corruption. At the same time, on Friday (June 27) in China, the Navy Chief and a top nuclear scientist were dismissed from the National People’s Congress (NPC).
According to a report by Hong Kong newspaper South China Morning Post, the Chinese Navy i.e. People’s Liberation Army Navy (Plan) Chief of Staff Vice Admiral Lee Hanjun and Deputy Chief Engineer of the country’s National Atomic Corporation Liu Shipung have been expelled from the National People’s Congress (NPC).
Action on officers under the ongoing anti -corruption campaign in the army
According to the report, the Chinese Navy chief Lee is among the generals of the Army and some of the defense industry officers, against whom action has been taken under the recent anti -corruption campaign in the army. The report states that NPC membership of Lee and Liu has been abolished.
General Miao Hua Ko CMC Voting done to remove from
China’s official news agency Xinhua said in a report that the National People’s Congress (NPC) Standing Committee has also voted for the removal of the top general Miao Hua from the post of Central Military Commission (CMC) member during the conclusion of its session on Friday (June 27). The Central Military Commission is the highest command of the Chinese Army, headed by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
According to Hyarki of Chinese military posts, General Miao is the youngest general. Those who are under investigation for serious violations of discipline since November 2024 last year and were also dismissed by the National People’s Congress (NPC) in April 2025 this year.
