
Sitaare zameen par: Aamir Khan and Genelia D’Souza starrer film ‘Stars Zameen Par’ is one of this year’s much awaited release. This film is going to come to theaters on June 20. Before the release of the film, there were alleged interruptions during the process of sensor certification. In fact, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) objected to some words and demanded some special cut.
However, actor-producer Aamir Khan did not like this thing, due to which the certification process was stopped. However, there is finally an agreement between the makers and the CBFC, which has cleared the way for the film’s release. CBFC has suggested to make some changes in the film which Aamir Khan has accepted.
Aamir Khan resolved controversy with CBFC
Let me tell you that recently there were reports that CBFC had asked the stars to cut two scenes from the ground, but according to Aamir Khan and the director of the film RS Prasanna, these scenes and dialogues were necessary for the story and it was not right to remove them. Due to this, there was a delay in getting the censor certificate to the film. However, the dispute has now been resolved. And Aamir Khan has also agreed to some cuts.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the Revision Committee of CBFC, headed by Vaman Kendre, has intervened in the case after Aamir Khan expressed dissatisfaction over the cut by the original Examin Committee, the Revising Committee reviewed the film on Monday, June 16 and talked about making many changes. After this, these words will be changed in the stars on the ground
- The word “Business Woman” has to be replaced by “Business Person”.
- Pop icon Michael Jackson’s reference has been replaced by the “Lovebirds” term in a scene.
- The committee also objected to a scene with the word “lotus” and has asked to use the word lots instead, considering it as politically sensitive.
- Apart from this, the original disclaimer of the film has also been removed and the Prime Minister in the new disclaimer Narendra Modi Has asked to include a coat of.
What is the run time and release date of the stars on the ground?
After all these changes were implemented, CBFC has given a U/A13+certificate on the star land on 17 June. The official runtime of the film is listed 158.46 minutes, which is equivalent to 2 hours, 38 minutes and 46 seconds. R.S. Directed by Prasanna, the star land is a Hindi remake of the Spanish Sports Drama Campions, which stars Aamir Khan and Genelia D’Souza in the lead roles. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on June 20.
