Earthmover operator Manoharan, 36, and his wife Sukanya, 32, residents of Tiruvannamalai. These two husband-wife have done something which will surprise you for a moment. Also, many questions will start coming to your mind regarding social media. The couple gave birth to a baby boy at home in Nandambakkam near Kundrathur. The most surprising thing is that she gave birth to the child at home following the instructions of a WhatsApp group.

According to the reports received so far, this couple lives in a rented house with their two daughters aged 8 and 4 years.
According to the news published in TOI, preliminary investigation reveals that Manoharan was part of a WhatsApp group called ‘Home Birth Experience’. People included in this group are very active in getting information about labor pain and related to it. When Sukanya became pregnant with her third child, she decided not to undergo any medical checkup during her pregnancy. So much so that when Sukanya went into labor on November 17, the couple decided to seek instructions and tips from a WhatsApp group instead of going to the hospital. Manoharan reportedly took care of the delivery himself.

Who filed the complaint against the couple?
The area public health officer lodged a complaint against the couple at Kundrathur police station after the birth of the child. The complaint states that Manoharan’s actions violated prescribed medical safety rules.

After the complaints, the police interrogated Manoharan and during the investigation they came to know about his association with the WhatsApp group.
