BrahMos Missile: After the Philippines, now Vietnam is also going to become the second Asian country to buy India’s BrahMos missile. It is a supersonic cruise missile. According to the information received, the total price of this deal can be around 700 million dollars i.e. about 5990 crores. Sources say that a big decision can be taken soon on this deal.

Like the Philippines, Vietnam has also had a dispute with China in South China Sea. For this reason, Vietnam is trying to strengthen his army. In the last few years, military relations between India and Vietnam have been deeper.

Philippines has got delivery

The Philippines had compromised three BrahMos missile batteries for $ 375 million with India. Now India has also started supply of these missiles to the Philippines. Now the BrahMos missile deal with Vietnam has also reached the final stage. Apart from this, talks are going on with Indonesia about this missile. This deal is said to be about $ 450 million. Apart from this, many countries of Central Asia, South America and Middle East (Middle East) have also shown interest in buying BrahMos missiles.

The range will be more than 600 kilometers

The range of BrahMos missile was earlier 290 kilometers, but now preparations are on to increase it further. Indian scientists are working to make it worth 400 to 600 kilometers. Recently, the Indian Air Force successfully tested the BrahMos Extended Range from the Sukhoi fighter aircraft, which had a firepower of over 400 kilometers.

Danger bell for China

China does not leave any shortage in intimidating South China Sea and its surrounding countries. He often interferes in the exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of these countries. Since 2009, China and the Philippines have worsened. China has released a new map, in which a large part has been described as its own by creating a 9 dash line in South China Sea. The line also includes many islands in the Philippines and part of EEZ.

Due to this grandson of China, now the risk of occupation of sea areas of countries like Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan and Malaysia has increased. In such a situation, the BrahMos missile of India can become a strong security shield for these countries, which can save them from the increasing threat of China.
