A golden opportunity to become a probationary officer in State Bank, you can apply till this date

If you are looking for a government job and want to make a career in the banking sector, then there is great news for you. State Bank of India (SBI) has issued recruitment notification for the posts of Probationary Officer (PO). Under this recruitment, appointments will be made for a total of 541 posts.

The application process has started and forms can be filled by 14 July 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting sbi.co.in or direct registration portal ibpsonline.ibps.in/sbipomay25/.

How much is the total vacancy?

A total of 541 posts will be filled under this recruitment. Of these, 500 posts are of regular category. 41 posts are to fill the vacant posts from backlog i.e. previous recruitments.

Who can apply?

Talking about educational qualification, the candidate should have a degree of graduation from a recognized university.

Age limit

By the last date of application, the age of the candidate should be between 21 and 30 years. Reserved category (SC, ST, OBC) will get age discount as per rules.

Application fee will have to be paid so much

For this recruitment, candidates will have to pay the application fee. The fee for General, OBC, EWS category is Rs 750. SC, ST, PWD class candidates will not have to pay any fee. The fee can be paid from online mode.

• Preliminary Examination (Prelims)
• Main Examination (Mains)
• Interview or group discussion

It will be mandatory to pass every phase. The final selection will be done on the basis of the total performance of the online exam + interview. For more details, candidates can take help of the official website.

• Step 2: Click on “Click here for new registration” and fill your basic information and register.
• Step 3: After this, fill the details in the application form, upload photos and signature.
• Step 4: Now pay the fee and click on the submit button.
• Step 5: In the end, do not forget to take a print out of the candidate form.
