US President-elect Donald Trump took an interesting way to promote his new perfume line by sharing a widely-shared moment between himself and Jill Biden during their visit to Notre Dame.
At the reopening ceremony of Notre Dame Cathedral, which is opening its gates after five years since it was burnt in 2019, Trump and first lady Biden sit together and share a brief moment. This moment was captured on cameras, and netizens couldn’t stop sharing it.
But it is not just netizens, Trump , aged 78, subsequently shared the screenshot of their encounter on Truth Social, suggesting Mrs Biden was drawn to him.
He added text over the image of a smiling Jill Biden stating: “A fragrance your enemies can’t resist”, whilst promoting his “Fight Fight Fight” fragrance line.
“Here are my new Trump Perfumes & Colognes! I call them Fight, Fight, Fight, because they represent us WINNING. Great Christmas gifts for the family,” he wrote.
“Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!” The Trump Fragrance collection, available in both masculine and feminine versions, retails at $199 per bottle.
As soon as Trump shared the poster, social media flooded with netizens commenting on it. One of the user said, “Damn… absolutely savage. 😂💀 Trump uses a photo Jill and Ashley Biden sitting next to him with love in their eyes as an ad for his cologne. ‘A fragrance your enemies can’t resist.’”
“President Trump Posts Hilarious Cologne and Perfume Advertisement on Truth Social I Love His scents of humor! It really doesn’t look like Jill is an enemy!” another user said.
Social media commentator Nick Sortor responded on X to the images of their interaction by stating: “Jill DEFINITELY voted for President Trump.”
The president has launched several other products like a premium collection of watches. Trump’s collection include gold and silver toned watches priced between $499 and $799.
He also launched a footwear, “Never-Surrender High Top Sneakers” and a book called, “God Bless The USA.”
