However, children from various selected central, government and semi-government, government-funded and private schools across the country will participate in it. A circular has been issued by the Directorate of Education regarding this survey. In this circular, all the information related to the survey has been given to all the schools.

Survey will be held on 4th December

All schools will remain open during this survey to be held on 4th December. Also, apart from the survey, no other activity of any kind will take place in the schools on that day. Schools running in the evening shift have also been instructed to ensure that their teachers, heads of institutions and students of classes 3, 6 and 9 are present for the survey in the morning shift.

Teachers were also included

On one hand, school children have been included in this survey. At the same time, teachers of selected schools and selected classes will also have to complete the teachers’ questionnaire and give answers to the school questionnaire to the head of the educational institution. During this time, a team of observers and investigators will conduct surprise inspections in the school and supervise this survey. According to the circular issued by the Directorate of Education, only blue or black ball point pen can be used for the survey. All survey materials, OMR sheets, question booklets will have to be returned to the investigator and observer after completion of the survey.

Half an hour time for special children and

According to the circular, in schools where children with special needs study, children have also been asked to give an additional 30 minutes during this survey. It has been clarified in the circular that during this national level study and district level reporting, comparative scoring or rank of any school with other schools will not be prepared.
