6500 librarians will be recruited in Bihar! BPSC will release notification soon

A great news has come out for the youth of Bihar. After the approval of the state government, preparations for restoration of 6500 librarian posts have started in Bihar. Candidates were waiting for a long time for this recruitment, which is going to end soon. It is being told that Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) may soon issue its notification. Significantly, the recruitment of librarian in Bihar was not done for the last 14 years. The last time this vacancy was taken out in the year 2011-12. After such a long gap, recruitment is being done on 6500 posts simultaneously, due to which thousands of youth will get a golden opportunity for jobs.

Who can apply?

Candidates applying should have a graduation degree in Library Science. A minimum of 45% marks are required for general category candidates, while reserved class, women and disabled candidates will get 5% discount i.e. they should pass graduation with 40% marks. Along with this, it is necessary to pass the eligibility test.

Age limit

The minimum age of the applicant should be 21 years. The special thing is that this time under the new manual, 10 years exemption will be given in the maximum age limit. Apart from this, 35% of the posts will be reserved for women.

How will the selection be?

Librarian posts will be selected on the basis of written examination. Under the new recruitment policy, now the domicile policy will also be implemented in it, that is, permanent residents of Bihar can get priority.
