‘It is not necessary to speak on every issue’, Rajkumar Rao broke silence on Hindi-Marathi language dispute

Rajkummar rao reacts on Hindi-marathi Row: Actor Rajkumar Rao expressed his opinion on the ongoing Hindi-Marathi language dispute in Maharashtra and spoke openly on the silence of the Hindi film actors on this issue.

Rajkumar, who has worked in films like ‘Stree’ and ‘Srikanth’, said that it is not necessary for every actor to speak on every issue and not posting anything on social media does not mean that he does not care about that issue.

In a conversation with news agency IANS, Rajkumar said that actors should speak on issues to which they feel deeply. He said, “If you are attached to any issue, then you must speak. But, it is not necessary to speak on every issue. Not posting anything on social media does not mean that you do not care about it.”

He raised the question that since when social media started deciding whether a person was sensitive or not. Rajkumar said, “Are those who are not on social media are not sad? Do they not get happiness on good things, social media is the only way to express grief and happiness?”

Sharing a personal experience, he said that he cried on hearing the news of a plane crash, but he did not consider it necessary to share it on social media. I saw pictures of that incident and wept. Is it necessary to put it on social media? This is a personal feeling. I believe that putting everything on social media can reduce its sensitivity.
