Shubman Gill on Thursday scored a double century against England during the second Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy in Birmingham.

The 25-year-old, newly-appointed captain toppled multiple records on the way to his 269. Gill’s heroics helped India post 587 in the first innings, the side’s fourth-highest in Tests in England.
