According to Ayurveda, the month of Shravan comes in the Visarga period i.e. during this time the energy and digestive capacity of the body is weak. Due to digestive problems, health can be affected, so special care of food should be taken in the spring.

In the spring, the rain remains at its peak. According to Ayurveda, the outbreak of Vata dosha increases in the rainy season, so the diet and lifestyle should be such that it is helpful in balanceing the unbalanced Vata dosha.

Fluids like juice, shikanji, syrup and other fruits should be consumed in the spring.

Eat foods that are light and fresh in spring. Which includes old barley, rice and wheat. Eat only hot and fresh cooked food. Do not eat raw vegetables and salads. Avoid cold things curd, buttermilk, curry.

Fried-roasted, spicy things create laziness in the person and if you want to do Shiva devotion in the spring, then sacrifice these things. By consuming them, the mind wanders from worship.

During the fast in Sawan, do not forget to consume brinjal, spinach, flower gobi vegetables. This can cause the fast to be disturbed.
