There will be Pradosh Kaal for full 2 ​​hours and 24 minutes on 31st October 2024. Along with this, Nishith is also falling. In such a situation, it would be scriptural to celebrate Diwali on 31st October.

Amavasya date will also be on 1st November 2024. But Amavasya Tithi will end before Pradosh Kaal. Therefore, celebrating Diwali on this day would not be scriptural.
